Book Review: A Man Called Ove
A Two-Minute Book Review
A MAN CALLED OVE by Fredrik Backman
I have a soft spot for crotchety old men, redemptive stories, and families that make themselves. I love great writing. I love wit. I love when a story is fed to me in little pieces, not in order, but it all comes together. I love lines so great I MUST read them aloud to whoever is nearby. I love books so great I insist others read them, pressing my own copy into their hands if needed.
OVE was all that and more. I read lines to my dad as he lay dying (he, too, was a crotchety old man with a heart of molten chocolate) and wished I could have read faster, so he could have enjoyed more of it.
Five hearts for this one. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
I’m thrilled to see a movie version coming out this December starring TOM HANKS!! 🥰🥰
Will you watch “A Man Called Otto?”
